Meet & Assist on arrival We enter the Taita Hills Sanctuary in the mid-morning and commence game viewing en-route base to booked camp or lodge. After check-in, we freshen up and settle for a buffet lunch. We will proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive with a visit to the rhino sanctuary. We return to our camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the Hotel - Saltlick With a full day in the park, your options are wide. Both morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. It is located in Taita-Taveta County approximately 220 kilometers from Mombasa. The sanctuary covers an area of 28,000 acres (110 km2), and is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park and the LUMO Community Wildlife Sanctuary. It hosts cape buffalo, African bush elephant, African leopard, Masai lion, Tanzanian cheetah, Masai giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, Thomson's gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and other smaller animals, including a great diversity of birdlife

The quintessential Masai Mara safari delivers many attractions, as the reserve is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game, including the more than two million wildebeest, zebras and other antelopes that make up the famous Great Migration. The reserve is a photographer's and naturalist's paradise, with abundant elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion and cheetah alongside the migratory wildebeest and zebra. Leopards are frequently encountered, endangered black rhino hide in the dense thickets and large rafts of hippo and enormous crocodiles are found in the Mara River. The park is also home to hundreds of bird species.

Near the river, dry acacia scrub and semi-arid savannah, peppered with termite mounds, takes over and extends all the way to the mountains that define the park�s northern boundary. Koitogor Hill marks the middle of the reserve.
