Tortilis Camp has a prime location for witnessing the majesty of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. The camp is named after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia Tortilis, and embraces a hill in one of Amboseli’s areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland. Located in a private conservancy bordering the national park, game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the national park and in the conservancy, where guests enjoy exclusivity. The tents are all spacious, with king or twin beds and elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs. The Private House and Family Tent are located slightly separate to the main camp, upon the hill where they share a pool.

Approximately 18 -32kms, takes approximately 1 hour's drive depending on traffic. Bonfire Adventures guide driver will warmly meet you on arrival at the Jomo Kenya International Airport, transfer you to your Nairobi hotel. Check-in then we brief you on what will hopefully be your best holiday in Africa. Enjoy overnight. You are booked on Bed & Breakfast.
Approximately 35 Minutes light aircraft from Wilson Airport to Amboseli Enjoy breakfast then we transfer you to the Wilson Airport for your morning scheduled flight to the Amboseli National Park. The camp/lodge vehicle & guide driver will pick you from the Airstrip, transfer you to the lodge for check-in then lunch. Enjoy an afternoon shared game viewing drive. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, background have been taken. Enjoy dinner and overnight.
Enjoy early morning game viewing drive the return back to the lodge for breakfast. Mid-morning is at leisure. If the weather permits you will enjoy breath-taking views of the snow - capped Mount Kilimanjaro. It is from the Amboseli where some of the most captivating wildlife photos with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background have been taken. Enjoy dinner and overnight.
Approximately 2.5 Hours light aircraft from Amboseli Masai Mara including 1 hour stop in Nairobi Enjoy early morning breakfast then the lodge vehicle will drop you at the Amboseli Airstrip for your morning scheduled Flight to the Wilson Airport for a brief stop then onwards to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp/lodge vehicle will pick you from the Keekorok airstrip, transfer you to the camp for check-in, lunch then an afternoon game viewing drive. Later return back to the lodge, enjoy diner and overnight.
Enjoy morning and afternoon shared game viewing drives. This famous game reserve is world famous for the spectacular wildebeest migration between July through to September each year, the abundant wildlife including the ‘Big five’ of Africa. It is one of the best safari destinations for Safari in Africa. The reserve is surrounded by Masai traditional home-steads and so at a small extra cost you may want to experience a cultural visit to one of them. Enjoy dinner and overnight.
Approximately 1 hour on a light aircraft Enjoy breakfast then check-out. The lodge vehicle will drop you at the Keekorok Airstrip in game for your morning scheduled Night to Nairobi. We meet you on arrival at the Wilson Airport, transfer you to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch them onwards to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. View this PackageSamburu is among Kenya’s most scenic reserves, with riverine forest along the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. Close to the river is also where you’re most likely to see leopards. Near the river, dry acacia scrub and semi-arid savannah, peppered with termite mounds, takes over and extends all the way to the mountains that define the park’s northern boundary. Koitogor Hill marks the middle of the reserve.
